The restaurant is a nice addition to the Carnival fleet. This is a new-to-me restaurant, and I’m a fan of Rudi’s. For many cruisers, the connection to the sea is the reason they want to sail, and Carnival Jubilee effectively makes that connection, blending indoors and out and giving cruisers a chance to find the right spot for them. But there’s more – to celebrate the New Year, you can expect parties, parties, and more parties. The classic fresh tropical fruit plate, cheese plate, and ice cream selections are also available. Delicious menu options are being offered for a special New Year's Eve Gala Dinner across the Carnival Cruise Line fleet.

Anyway there is one aspect of your experience you didn't touch on. Like you, I'm Diamond with Royal Caribbean and Platinum with Carnival. I accumulated most of my Carnival cruises when I was younger and have essentially moved on to other lines, but I still sail Carnival on occasion but generally only on the Spirit Class off season which is more of a safe bet. On Royal Caribbean I feel that I'm treated quite well as a Diamond past passenger, especially with the dedicated lounge and free drinks every evening. This will be my first time sailing Carnival as a Platinum level past passenger, and I'm curious how it compares with sailing Royal Caribbean as a Diamond.

A special menu at dinner
Just another way I guess that Carnival really appeals to the first timer. I've actually never done anytime dining so I can't tell you too much about it on the Breeze. I can say that I only saw long lines for it one night (New Years Eve) and there always seemed to be a lot of empty tables in the anytime dining area from my vantage point on the upper level of the dining room.

This ride is an adrenaline-filled two laps around, with some fun twists and turns that got my heart pumping. This was probably because the ship didn’t actually offer a whole lot more, in terms of showstoppers to keep us busy. On Carnival Jubilee, the sheer number of activity options are astounding. In fact, a whole section of the ship – dubbed the Ultimate Playground – could keep you busy for the duration of your cruise. The Ultimate Playground encompasses an aqua park and the ship’s Sports Square.
That it took a long time to get food – nearly 30 minutes for a simple noodle dish and burrito bowl order. Waitstaff seemed overwhelmed and didn’t look to have time for more than taking an order or dropping off a dish. On this new ship, the atrium stretches from Deck 6 to Deck 8, with a Center Stage that stands in front of a bold, multilevel LED screen. On Deck 6, you’ll find tables and chairs along with a bar and busy dance floor, and stadium seating is available on decks 7 and 8. But for New Year’s Eve, we’re going overboard in the best way possible. These onboard activities will keep things worry-free and help you bring the season to life.

From New York to New Orleans and Baltimore to Mobile to all the Florida homeports, Carnival ships are ready to sail into 2024. Furthermore, Carnival is a musical sponsor for the ever-popular “Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest 2024” on ABC, a live broadcast of the festivities that will start at 8 p.m. On Sunday, December 31, 2023 and continue into 2024 until 2 a.m.

This space has good looks, but you can’t miss the innovative tech packed into the zone! Six huge LED “windows” — and the awe-inspiring wavy LED ceiling — will help transport you to mesmerizing digital underwater worlds. These screens are the center of the local entertainment, with interactive audio-visual elements that let kids, adults and everyone enjoy and add to the under-this-world seascapes! Plus there’s Seaquest, a show that virtually transforms the zone into a submarine on an adventure we’ll enjoy together.
Guests also have other delicious options on the menu as well. Carnival Cruise Line has released the New Year’s Eve Gala Dinner menu for 2024, with a wide range of delicious dishes on offer as guests prepare to ring in the new year at sea. No doubt BREEZE is less expensive to sail compared to OASIS and ALLURE, and I suppose expectations should be lowered in comparison ... But regardless of what is paid I think a certain standard should be expected.
But you don’t have to pay extra for options when it comes to dining on Carnival Jubilee. The ship offers plenty of included food, from great chicken sandwiches and burgers at Big Chicken (in partnership with Shaquille O’Neal) and Guy Fieri’s Guy’s Burger Joint. The lido deck area also features the Street Eats options of Time Fries, Mad Sizzle and Steam Dream alongside favorite Seafood Shack; Mexican is available at the Blue Iguana Cantina. In 2001, Carnival Inspiration was a pretty standard cruise ship. If you wanted to be outdoors, you went up to the lido deck, where you could hang by the pool, enjoy the sun and watch (or participate in) the various pool games and activities, from dance lessons to bellyflop contests. Balcony cabins were few and far between on that ship, with only the top-of-the-line cabins boasting one.
